| Mosquito Activity (Scale from 0 to 5) |
- The mosquito activity is a 2 this week. The bulk of the mosquito
activity this week is from tiger mosquitoes. The only way to control
tiger mosquitoes it to dump out standing water around the home.

| Surveillance |
- Rainfall last week averaged .79 inches; this was enough rain to
fill containers around the homes.
- 7 CDC style traps were set this week, with a total of 313
mosquitoes caught for an average of 45 per trap. CDC trap counts are
falling and expected to continue falling.
- 20 Omni-Directional Fay-Prince (OFP) were set this week, with a
total of 443 tiger mosquitoes for an average of 22 per trap.

| Service Requests |
- We had 11 service requests this week. Complaint calls were split
this week between Churchland and Cradock. All of the calls in
Cradock were from tiger mosquitoes.

| Control Efforts |
- Crews have been out inspecting and treating catch basins and
back ditches. Most of the ditches in the city are dry at this time.
- Crews also truck fogged approximately 2,760 acres this week.
Additional areas will be sprayed this weekend if weather conditions
permit.
