- The city received no rain last week.
- The mosquito activity is a 2 and is expected to drop to a 1
later this weekend as cooler temperatures enter the region.
- Cooler nighttime temperatures and shorter days mean the season
is winding down. There still may be some increased mosquito activity
on warm evenings.

| Surveillance |
- 8 CDC style light traps were set this week, a total of 643
mosquitoes were caught, for an average of 80 per trap. Trap counts
were down slightly from last week. Mosquito hot spots remain along
the southern city margins.
- Crews continue to monitor standing water for larvae and treat
where necessary.

| Control Efforts |
- There was no truck fogging this week due to decreasing mosquito
activity and cooler nighttime temperatures.
- Crews have continued to treat all standing water in roadside and
back ditches and storm drains.
